At YES, right now, we’re seeing more youth turning to substances as a way to cope with overwhelming mental health challenges. Even more concerning, this is happening at a younger and younger age and often leads to dangerous consequences, like accidental overdoses.
Your year-end donation can change this because recovery is possible with counseling and treatment.
This holiday season, youth in our community are relying on you to help them begin their recovery.
Please make your critical year-end gift before December 31st to have the most significant impact.
What Your Gift Provides
Your support will directly fund critical programs and services for youth in our community, including:
- Expert care from co-occurring disorders therapists trained to address both substance use and mental health disorders,
- Proven programs like our 7 Challenges Substance Use Treatment Group, where youth find hope, guidance, and peer support,
- Lifesaving treatment for every family who needs it, regardless of their ability to pay,
- And many more essential services provided through schools in the Bellevue and Lake Washington School Districts, and free programs throughout the community, which serve youth and Spanish-speaking families.
Only with your gift are these life-changing resources possible.
DONATE TODAYMichelle’s Story
Your gift today can help a young teen named Michelle*.
Michelle’s struggles with drugs began when she was only 12 years old. She felt insecure and anxious, and that she didn’t belong, so she began to use drugs as a way to fit in and feel accepted by friends who seemed carefree and “cool.”
Within a year, Michelle’s drug use had escalated; she was using every day, even during school hours. She felt
trapped in a cycle of loneliness and addiction.
Then, the unthinkable happened—Michelle overdosed on a fentanyl-laced pill and ended up in the hospital.
You can help Michelle today. Your donation will help her find a safe path forward, providing her with access to professional counseling, a supportive community, and a realistic vision of a life free from substance use.
With your support, can we give Michelle a real chance at recovery. Please donate today to support Michelle and other youth like her.
