Latino HEAT and Latinos Unidos

íSi Se Puede!

Latino H.E.A.T. (Hispanos En Acción Together), Latinos Unidos at Redmond High School, and Juanita High School Latino Club are youth leadership, service, and culture groups that serve to create cultural and inclusive spaces for leadership, college readiness, and cultural expression to thrive. Our team-building and personal growth activities, community organizing, planning cultural events, and monthly community service opportunities, inspire youth voice and leadership. Groups collectively address issues impacting the Latine community and personal goals. We build unity across cultures and differences, through bilingual bi-cultural strategies, address racism, and activate solutions to violence and life stressors. Teaching, learning, and celebrating culture unites and mobilizes us all.
