When you request information or make a donation through the YES website, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, street address and email address.

Use of Personal Information

When you make a donation, the information collected will be used to process your transaction and to ensure your payment is correctly credited to your account, including your wishes regarding how your gift information is handled, acknowledged and communicated.

Based on the information you provide and/or request through the website, a YES employee may contact you.

With your permission, YES will send you electronic or printed materials about our services and events. You can add or remove your name from our mailing list at any time by using the unsubscribe option at the bottom of the email, or by contacting YES at 425.747.4937 or info@youtheastsideservices.org.

All YES employees and contractors with access to personal information are required to adhere to this policy in addition to privacy and security policies that protect healthcare information. Please refer to the YES Notice of Privacy Practices and Client Rights, available by request.

In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, YES has physical, technical and administrative policies and procedures to safeguard information we collect.

Security

The YES web site is secured with GoDaddy.com Web Server Certificate. Transactions on the site are protected with up to 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption.

If you choose to make a credit card donation through the YES website, it is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

Third-party providers used by YES will only collect, use and/or disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to YES.

Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of data that the site transfers to your computer’s hard drive when you visit a website. YES’ website uses only session cookies, which are erased when the user closes the web browser. The session cookie is stored in a temporary memory and is not retained after the browser is closed.
