Giving at Work

Multiply your donation by giving through work

Many companies give their employees the opportunity to have a positive impact on their communities by offering payroll deduction options for charitable giving, gift matching and volunteer service hours.

Payroll deduction

A $10 or $20 recurring payroll donation adds up to a huge amount of support for youth and families struggling with depression, substance abuse, violence, trauma, grief and other profoundly difficult issues.  Ask your human resources department if your company has a workplace or United Way giving program in place.

Matching gifts

Your gift to YES could be multiplied two, three or more times through your company’s matching gift program. Contact your employer’s human resources office to find out whether your company provides this opportunity for increasing your donation’s impact.

Fundraising for YES

Undertaking a workplace giving campaign for YES helps struggling youth and families in East King County — and it’s a great way to get to know your co-workers. If you’re interested in kicking off a campaign, we can help and support you.
