Giving at Work

Multiply your donation by giving through work

Many companies give their employees the opportunity to have a positive impact on their communities by offering payroll deduction options for charitable giving, gift matching and volunteer service hours.

Host an Event to Benefit YES

Hosting an event or workplace giving campaign to benefit YES helps struggling children, youth and families in East King County — and it’s a great way to get to know your co-workers!

There are many easy and creative ways to do this.  If you’re interested in hosting an event or campaign, contact Angela Chapman at angelac@youtheastsideservices.org or  425-586-2326

Payroll deduction

A $10 or $20 recurring payroll donation adds up to a huge amount of support for youth and families struggling with depression, substance abuse, violence, trauma, grief and other profoundly difficult issues.  Ask your human resources department if your company has a workplace or United Way giving program in place.

Matching gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees. Some companies also match gifts by retirees and/or spouses.

To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please enter your employer’s name below:
