If you would still like to ensure that ALL children, youth and families in East King County have access to mental health and substance use counseling and treatment, regardless of their ability to pay.
Become an Adopt-A-Family Sponsor
The Adopt-A-Family Program at YES offers our community the chance to help one another have a great holiday season. Last year, our Adopt-A-Family sponsors brought much-needed warmth and light to 100 local families during the winter holidays.
As an Adopt-A-Family sponsor, you will be matched with an individual YES client or family who needs the following to have a memorable holiday season:
- $50 gift card to either Fred Meyer or Target for each child in the family (families will then shop for what they want/need)
- $50 gift card to either Fred Meyer or Safeway for the entire family to purchase food or a needed household item
We ask that you only purchase gift cards to the locations listed above. This is to ensure that gifts being distributed are more equitable for all families.
If you would like to donate more than the commitment listed above ($50 per child and $50 for the family) we would be extremely grateful. Please know that any additional gift cards received will be distributed amongst other families in need. This is to ensure that all families are receiving amounts of equal value, and together, we can reach more local families.
You may sponsor one family or several families, and you may designate how many children in a family you wish to sponsor. If you are not able to sponsor an entire family, you may still help by donating a gift card to be combined with other cards for a family.
The application process for Adopt-A-Family is closed.
