Care for the whole family
Youth Eastside Services (YES) believes that involving family in a young client’s treatment is an integral part of counseling services. Caleb’s parents have been involved in the healing process since the very beginning.
“In the beginning, it felt like an overwhelming rollercoaster. We didn’t know where to go, or what to do. We were really only trying to focus on saving Caleb’s life. As we went through the process of seeking services, things became clear,” said April, Caleb’s mom.
April encourages other families who are struggling to reach out and contact YES. “Whatever their needs are, YES will help point them in the right direction. There is strength and support out there.”
Caleb’s story is a real-life example of the struggles that youth, and their families, experience. Thanks to our generous donors, Caleb and their family were able to receive the services they needed to recover and begin to lead a healthy life.
There’s still time this holiday season to help Eastside youths like Caleb by making a donation to YES. With your donation YES is able to provide compassionate, professional counseling and treatment services to East King County children, youth and families, regardless of their ability to pay for care.
