Where to find us

We are temporarily not accepting new clients for clinic-based behavioral health services.

After a great deal of thought, discussion, and implementing several strategies to respond to unprecedented high demand for services, YES has made the difficult decision to temporarily not take new clients in our clinic-based behavioral health services at our agency locations effective February 14th 2020. This is to ensure that YES is able to respond and provide services to those individuals who have already completed their intakes with us.

Please note that our school-based clinical/behavioral health services remain open as usual for new clients based on capacity per site. Additionally, we will still be accepting clients age birth to 5 for our Promoting First Relationships (PFR) early childhood behavioral health program and our non-clinical programs in local teen/community centers.

To give context to this, over the past 5 years the number of children, youth and families requesting behavioral health services – particularly around the issues of anxiety and depression – has dramatically increased. Both national and local data reflect this trend, as does the number of people seeking services at YES, other community agencies and private practice groups.

Please know, this is a temporary and necessary measure to provide our clients with the best care and that we are continuously assessing this status and will be posting any updates Monday mornings.

Additionally, we are in regular communication with our eastside partner agencies and those that have some capacity for accepting new clients will be listed below this message.

Thank you for your understanding.

– David Downing, YES Chief Operations Officer
