Youth Eastside Services and The Moyer Foundation offer Camp Mariposa—a 48-hour overnight camp aimed at helping youth who have been affected by the drug/alcohol abuse or addiction of a family member. Separate camps are held for kids 9-12 and teens 13-17.

Camp Mariposa consists of traditional fun activities with therapeutic elements. The camp is designed to increase participants' understanding of drug and alcohol issues and the impact on the family, to raise their awareness of resources available to help them, and to reduce their sense of isolation.

Space is limited, so contact YES right away for more information or to start the intake process for a potential camper.

COST: The camp is FREE for all approved participants (approval subject to intake process by YES staff). Camp participants are required to pay a refundable (upon camp attendance) fee of $20.

CONTACT: YES Intake or 425.747.4937.
